Kaffeehaus Amadeus is open on Saturdays & Sundays between 11am & 4pm

Monthly Archives: August 2014

And then there's the cappuccino!  Without reserve, I can say they make the best cappuccino I have ever had.  Their coffee is in a class of its own, inspiring flights of metaphorical fancy like:The espresso machine at Amadeus is like a Stradivarius played by the hands of a master, and the music it makes is molto allegro!"

From the first time we walked through the door, I knew we had found something rare and special.  The welcome is warm, friendly and personal, and the atmosphere invites you to relax, unfold, and enjoy.  I find myself stopping by a few times a week now.  Sometimes I come alone with a book.  It is my favourite place to meet a friend.  And I just love bringing people there for the first time and watching them light up at discovering the place.

Bank Holiday Monday, 25th August, saw the successful opening of the 'Constanze Suite' at Kaffeehaus Amadeus, Lanchester’s Viennese Coffee House. The downstairs has been open to customers since December 2013 and is now proud to open the upstairs room for bookings, functions and events.

Amadeus Torte!

Our famous Amadeus Torte (White chocolate cake with raspberries, pistacio marzipan, white chocolate ganache, …. mmmhhh) is on the menu tomorrow (Saturday) and on Bank Holiday Monday. Don’t miss out.

Invitation to a waltz…

On Bank Holiday Monday, (25th August), we will be opening our new upstairs seating area "Constanze Suite". To celebrate we're holding the first of our Kaffeehaus Musik events - while you have a Viennese Breakfast or "Kaffee und Kuchen", classical musicians will perform live various pieces from Mozart, Schubert, Strauss, and others!
